Today I begin work as the web designer at Co-op@Home. It’s sort of a “Part II” to Josiah’s “Thus Begin a New Era” as I am filling the role that he left.
Red River classes are over for me, so I’m done college classes for the foreseeable future. College has felt like both a long time and a short time, and it’s strange to be done. I made friends with a score of great young designers, and I’ll miss them along with their city, but I’ll try to visit. When I started college, I began every day by listening to The Weakerthans’ One Great City for the first couple of weeks. However, I don’t know if I hate Winnipeg anymore. I think I’ve grown rather fond of it.
But it’s good to be back. Good to be amongst friends. Good to be starting an exciting new job.
P.S. Shoutout to DMD 2014 as you begin your work placements
